2.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information
  • Usage Data: Timestamps of when URLs are created and accessed
  • Platform Detection: We automatically detect which e-commerce platform your URL belongs to (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, etc.) for categorization purposes only

2.3 Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to store:

  • Your language preference
  • No tracking cookies are used
  • No third-party analytics or advertising cookies

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain our URL shortening service
  • Generate and store short URLs
  • Redirect users from short URLs to destination URLs
  • Detect and prevent abuse of the service
  • Improve and optimize the service
  • Display your chosen language interface

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored using Cloudflare's infrastructure:

  • Cloudflare KV: Stores URL mappings (original URL, subdomain, short code, timestamps, platform metadata)
  • Global Distribution: Data is replicated across Cloudflare's global edge network for fast access
  • Retention: URLs are stored indefinitely unless you request deletion or links expire (if expiration is set)

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Cloudflare (infrastructure provider) - see Cloudflare Privacy Policy
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

6. Security

We implement security measures to protect your information:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
  • Cloudflare's enterprise-grade security infrastructure
  • Input validation and sanitization
  • Rate limiting to prevent abuse

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Cloudflare operates globally and data may be stored in multiple regions for redundancy and performance.

Currently, we do NOT use:
